Now another cloak they choose to abide.

A jacket emerges when winters descend,

But winters change, and seasons blend.

With time, as winters shift their guise,

The jacket, too, must bid goodbyes.

कुछ कहानियाँ जब सिर्फ़ कहानियाँ होती हैं, तो और भी ख़ूबसूरत लगती हैं। कहानी में तुम्हें कंगन-बालियाँ पहना सकता हूँ, कहानी में तुमसे घंटों बतिया सकता हूँ। अगर उसमें खो भी जाऊँ, तो लिख सकता हूँ कैसे, कहाँ, तुम मुझे फिर से पा सकती हो। कम से कम कहानी में तो तुम बिना झिझक मुझे देख सकोगी, मुझसे कह सकोगी… कुछ और कहो। और हाँ, जब एक कहानी दूसरी से कहे— “मुझे भी एक कहानी सुनाओ,” तो वो दोनों मिलकर एक नई कहानी बुन रही होती हैं। ज़िन्दगी 23 का पहाड़ा नहीं, TWO की TABLE है जो गुणा होगी तो EVEN ही बनायेगी, ODD नहीं..
